Subhanallah. Lots of unexpected things happened. I switched my country placement from Ireland to Czech Republic and back to Ireland again. I changed my course from Medicine to Biomedical Science.
Alhamdulillah. Got an offer from University College Cork. 4 years course.
Subhanallah. Rezeki menjadi tetamu Allah di bumi Shamrock :)

| Cork Institute of Technology (CIT), my second campus |
Only God knows the hardships I need to endure during my first month here.
New place, new course, new people, new experience each and every day.
Being the first international student accepted in the course.
Being the only Muslim girl in class.
The struggle in searching for class building.
Only to know that my course is a joint-venture programme between UCC and CIT.
Need to travel between these two campus.
At first, took me about one hour walk from UCC to CIT.
Thanks to Google Map and my other classmate from Malaysia, Freddy for the help.
Well, it's all about the courage to explore something new.
Do everything on my own.
Do everything on my own.
Plus, being a minority as a muslim. I felt alienated.
Got no seniors to refer to. Memang kena independent habis.
Even the smallest thing can be difficult.
Even the smallest thing can be difficult.
30 classmates. All Irish except me and Fred.
I remember my first day at CIT when everybody's looking at me.
Maybe they wondered why this Asian-looking-girl-with-hijab is doing here.
Yes I feel down at first. Like seriously I didn't see any muslims here. Gaaaah
Most probably me and Fred were the first two Malaysian students who study here.
It took me almost a month to completely adapt with new environment and Cork's weather.
Mujahadah dalam beribadah di bumi asing.
Thankfully, now I feel comfortable with my dear classmates that always being helpful.
Passionate lecturers that inspired me to work hard. Especially Lesley Cotter ;)
I believe with every hardship comes ease.
I won't regret on anything. Alhamdulillah for the chance and experience :)

Subhanallah,.. You're such a strong & brave girl, Min. I'm proud of you :')
